Frequently Asked Questions

PRINTS
What is the difference between limited edition and regular prints?

Limited Edition Prints: These prints are signed and numbered, authenticated, and part of a series of only a limited number. They can be purchased in person or online while supplies last. Once they are sold, they are gone. These limited prints are printed and shipped personally by me, and only a certain number exist.

Unlimited Prints: I also offer some pieces as unlimited prints. While they do have a signature, it is not hand-written by me; instead, it is printed from what is listed on the art. These prints are not numbered. They are done through a third-party printing company and sent directly to you.

Art Preservation Tips and Display
How should I care for my artwork?

To preserve the beauty and longevity of your artwork, consider these essential tips:

  • Indoor Display: Keep your pieces indoors in a dry environment, avoiding direct sunlight and excessive heat.
  • Handling: Use clean hands to prevent transferring oils and dirt, and for delicate pieces, consider using gloves.
  • Cleaning: Regularly dust your artwork with a soft microfiber cloth. Avoid using cleaning sprays or water directly on the artwork.
  • Environment: Maintain a stable environment with moderate temperature and humidity levels to prevent fading, warping, or cracking. Avoid placing artwork in bathrooms or too close to humid environments like aquariums. Also, keep them away from heat sources such as kitchen stoves, radiators, or fireplaces.
  • Placement: Ensure that the artwork is hung securely and consider using wall anchors for heavier pieces. Avoid hanging artwork in high-traffic areas where it might get knocked or damaged.
  • Storage: If not on display, store artwork vertically in a cool, dry place using acid-free tissue paper for protection. Keep your art off the ground and away from water to prevent damage. Avoid stacking artwork to prevent pressure damage.
  • Framing: When framing, choose acid-free matting and backing, and opt for UV-protective glass to prevent fading. Ensure that the frame is sturdy and in good condition to provide adequate support and protection.
  • Transportation: Use proper packaging and secure framed pieces with adequate padding during transportation. Consider using corner protectors and bubble wrap for added protection.
  • Material-Specific Care: Different types of artwork may have specific care requirements. For example, oil paintings might need to breathe, so avoid glass frames, while photographs benefit from UV-protective glass. Seek additional guidance if needed to ensure your artwork receives the care it deserves.
  • Professional Maintenance: Periodically check the condition of your artwork, and if you notice any signs of damage or deterioration, consult a professional conservator for advice and possible restoration.

Following these guidelines will help maintain the integrity and beauty of your artwork for years to come.

How should I display my artwork?

Whenever possible, we affix hanging hardware to the back of your piece, providing a convenient option for wall display. However, don't limit your creativity – many collectors have arranged their artwork within bookshelf vignettes, on picture easels, or even as a unique car dashboard buddy for smaller figures/pieces. Think beyond seasonal limitations; your Christmas ornaments can be hung up as charming wall decor or displayed in unconventional spaces throughout the year. The key is to explore various display options that resonate with your style and enhance the aesthetic appeal of your space.

How to frame your artwork successfully?

Framing your artwork is an essential step to make it look good and stay safe. Start by choosing materials like acid-free matting and backing to keep your art in excellent condition. When selecting a frame, go for one that matches your style and includes UV protection to shield your art from the sun.

Now, let's securely place it in the frame. If your art is delicate, use acid-free tape or special hinges designed for its weight. Spacers can create a bit of space between your art and the glass. Don't forget to add a dust cover backing to keep out dust and moisture.

What name is on my piece?

Veronica, who also goes by Vero Lynn, signs her pieces as Veronica Lynn Becerra, Veronica Lynn Becerra Rivera.
